On 5 June, it was that time again: over 3,000 runners took part in this year’s AOK company run in Dortmund – and our sporty team from Schlager Industrieofenbau was right in the middle of it all.

Under the motto ‘We run hot’, our team not only presented itself with sporting commitment, but also with a wink: the motto picks up on our core expertise in industrial furnace construction, because our solutions are used wherever high temperatures are required. With the same energy and passion that we put into our work every day, we also successfully mastered the 6.7 kilometre course around Dortmund’s Phoenixsee lake.

Whether ambitious or relaxed runners – the focus was on the shared experience, the fun of exercise and a strong sign of team cohesion.

The company run shows what we at Schlager are all about: reliability, enthusiasm and genuine togetherness – values that we live by not only in projects, but also at events like this one.

As an employer, it is important to us to create a working environment in which team spirit, health and commitment are actively encouraged. The company run was once again proof that not only the ovens run hot at Schlager – but also the team spirit.
